Prof. Einat Levy-Gigi
Einat Levy-Gigi is the Mercator Fellow in the RTG.
The DFG's Mercator Fellowship supports long-term, project-based cooperation between German and international researchers. The Mercator Fellow brings outside expertise to a collaborative research project, spends some time at the German research institution, and maintains close contact between the research visits.
Einat is an associate professor, senior researcher, and head of the Trauma, Coping, & Growth Lab at Bar-Ilan University, Israel. Her research focuses on clinical psychology, particularly anxiety and mood disorders, as well as emotion regulation and regulatory flexibility.
In the RTG, she will give workshops, serve as a summer school teacher, and join us for several research stays in Saarbrücken where she will also participate in the annual retreats. She takes on the role as Secondary Supervisor in project F4.
Her lab is open to PhD students for visits and longer research stays.
