Prof. Tanja Michael

Tanja is the Chair of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy at Saarland University. Her main research interests are trauma-related disorders and psychological resilience. She investigates which mechanisms, such as memory processes or flexibility, underlie symptom burden respectively resilience. She also examines which interventions are effective in easing trauma-related symptom burden.


In the RTG, Tanja is a senior researcher of project F4 and the secondary supervisor of projects F5 and F6.
